Position Summary
This role is an account and business consulting leader of SRM process for a core customer of Samsung companies. The leader will provide consulting expertise in SRM area including strategy, process, IT system, and organization based on global companies’ best practices. With responsibilities to develop projects, preparing documents and deliverables is necessary secondary job. This role will also rely on excellent communication skills with proficient SRM/SCM background to lead the CXO level executives of our customers.
Responsibilities
Provide thought leadership and expertise of SRM area to Samsung SDS’s customers based on global best practices
Develop SRM related business opportunities in Samsung companies and Asia Pacific regional customers
Create client deliverables and communicate effectively with CXO level customers
Provide SRM knowledge sharing and mentoring our SRM consultants
Skills and Expertise
A consulting or a solution professional with at least 10+ years of high-tech industry consulting experience and at least 5 years of SRM implementation experience
Three to five years of strategic sourcing experience in the area of IT
Preferred skills of SAP SRM experience
Experience in IBM GIE business model; Especially experience in SRM / strategic sourcing projects for HP and P&G in the GIE environment
Strong executive presence and experience in the support of selling ‘consulting’ engagements to CXO level customers
High level of confidence and ability to match knowledge with customers’ subject matters
Strong teamwork skills and ability to drive decision-making across multiple functions and organizational areas
Globalization and Language Requirements
Fluency in English required; Korean language proficiency preferred
Travel Requirements
Position based in Korea at least 2 years, with approximately 25% travel requirement
(Based on personal performance in Korea, additional global presence such as the United States can be offered later.)
Education
At least Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering field is preferred. However, there is no limitation on majors.
