PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1.Recommend, develop and pursue long term growth objective and plans for assigned locations.

2.Set and obtain order intake budgets.

3.Work with target customers to recommend products, set specifications, and close orders for the largest possible package of products at the most profitable prices possible.

4.Determine competitive standing of current products in relation to price, features and performance including analysis of competitor actions, product developments, product policies and activities.

5.Evaluate product success in the marketplace through internal reports and direct contacts with field sales, customers and distributors. Recommend adjustments to marketing and sales efforts when and where necessary.

6.Maintain current and required knowledge of the marketplace to be thoroughly appraised of all new or modified product opportunities as well as developments that may impact our products or ability to sell them.

7.Plan and determine product pricing and distribution policy consistent with sound price and discount practices to obtain optimum volume and market position.

8.Resolve product inconsistencies arising from, but not limited to, manufacturing and engineering inquiries, change in vendor supplies, and customer complaints.


EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB:

Normally requires a minimum 5 years of experience beyond the training period; has demonstrated good skills at technical activities and engineering function.
Business experience with shipyards would be preferred.
Electrical Engineering major or Lighting Engineer would be preferred.
Fluent English skill
